Hey Andre — Marco has 10:30am or 4:15pm open tomorrow. Which one works?

10:30 works

Booked — Marco, tomorrow at 10:30am, skin fade, $40. I'll text you a reminder tonight.

Sent at 9:42 PM. The shop had been closed for three hours.

The math

An empty chair is the most expensive thing in your shop.

You do not lose money on the appointments you take. You lose it in the gaps — the unanswered text, the slot that cancels Friday night, the regular who quietly stopped coming.

3 missed calls

on a busy Saturday

Your hands are in someone’s hair. The phone rings out. Most of those people book somewhere else instead of calling back.

2 no-shows

in an average month

At $45 a cut that is $90 of chair time you can never resell — and nobody was told the slot was free.

9:42 PM

when people actually book

Booking intent shows up after work, on the couch, long after the shop is dark. A voicemail box does not convert it.

What it does

Not a chatbot bolted onto a form. A front desk that works your channels.

Your booking page stays a booking page — fast, predictable, no conversation required. Kalendaryo takes the work no form can do.

  1. 01Available now

    It answers, whatever the hour

Guests text your shop number or open the chat on your booking page. Kalendaryo reads the real schedule — the right barber, the right service length, the hours you actually keep — and books it. No account, no app to download.

“Do you take walk-ins tonight?” → answered, and booked, at 9:42 PM.

  2. 02Available now

    A cancellation becomes a booking

When a slot frees up, Kalendaryo checks who is waiting for that barber on that day, and texts the best match a claim link. First to tap it gets the chair. You find out when it is already full.

“Marco just opened up at 2:15 today — want it?” → claimed in four minutes.

  3. 03Available now

    Your regulars come back

It learns each customer’s rhythm — every three weeks with Marco, always a Thursday evening — and reaches out when someone drifts past their usual gap. The nudge that owners never have time to send.

“It’s been five weeks since your last cut with Marco. Saturday 10am is open.”

  4. 04Coming soon

Missed calls stop being lost calls

A ringing phone you cannot reach turns into a text back within seconds, and the conversation picks up from there. Coming as part of the AI Front Desk tier.

“Sorry we missed you — want me to find you a time?”

Monday morning

You get a receipt for the work it did.

Software you have to check is another chore. Kalendaryo reports to you instead — every booking it took, every slot it saved, every customer it brought back, summarised each week.

Every action is logged against a real appointment, so you can open any line and see exactly what was said and to whom.

Chair time recovered that would otherwise have gone empty: about $340.

And all the ordinary things, done properly.

The scheduling underneath is not an afterthought. It is the part we built first.

  • Reminders the day before, so fewer people forget
  • Notification preferences your customers control themselves

Questions owners actually ask.

Do my customers need an app or an account?

No. They text your number or open your booking link, and that is it. No download, no password, no “create an account to continue”. Regulars can manage their own bookings from a link we text them.

What happens if the AI gets something wrong?

It cannot invent availability. Every booking goes through the same scheduling engine as your booking page — real staff hours, real service lengths, and a database rule that makes double-booking impossible. It confirms the details back before it books, and every message it sends is logged against the appointment so you can read exactly what happened.

Do I have to give up my phone number?

No. You get a dedicated number on the AI Front Desk tier and choose how far to push it — some shops put it on their Google listing and window, others just forward texts to it at first. Your existing line keeps working either way.

Can I still book people in myself?

Always. Walk-ins, phone calls, the regular who only talks to you — you add them in the dashboard and the agent works around them. Kalendaryo covers the hours and channels you cannot, it does not take over the ones you can.

Is this only for barbershops?

It was built with a barbershop, and that is where it is sharpest today. The scheduling underneath has nothing barbershop-specific about it, so salons, nail and lash studios, tattoo shops and independent practitioners fit fine. Tell us what you run and we will tell you honestly whether it is a fit yet.

What does early access actually mean?

We onboard a small number of shops by hand instead of pointing you at a signup wizard. We set your shop up with you on a call, bring your existing customers and schedule across, and you get a direct line to the person building it. No setup fee, no contract, and you can leave whenever you like. In exchange we want your honest reaction to what does not work.

Let’s see what your shop is leaving on the table.

We’re onboarding a small number of shops by hand. You get set up in a call, there is no setup fee and no contract, and you can walk away whenever you like.

  • Set up with you, not left to a wizard
  • Your existing customers and schedule imported
  • No setup fee, no contract

We use this to get in touch about setting up your shop. Nothing else, and no list we sell on.
